What to do if Samlexpower Inverter AC output shuts down and the Overload LED is lit?
    • C
      Christopher VegaJul 26, 2025
If the Samlexpower Inverter's AC output shuts down completely, the red "Overload" LED is lit, the buzzer is on, but the green "Power ON" LED and GFCI light are off, it indicates a continuous overload beyond the inverter's power rating. Reduce the load or use an inverter with a higher power rating. If the issue persists after resetting and removing the load, the unit may be defective and you should contact technical support. To reset the unit, switch it off, wait three minutes, and then switch it back on, ensuring the cause of the shutdown is removed beforehand.

Why Samlexpower PST-600-12 has no AC output and the Over temperature LED is on?
    • J
      Julia LeeJul 30, 2025
If your Samlexpower Inverter has no AC output, the green "Power ON" LED is lit, the buzzer is sounding, and the red "Over temperature" LED is lit, but the green GFCI light is off, it means the unit shut down due to over temperature. This can happen because of fan failure, high ambient temperature, or insufficient air exchange. Check if the fan is working; if not, the fan control circuit may be defective, and you should contact Technical Support. If the fan is working, make sure the ventilation slots are not blocked and that enough cool air is available, and that the ambient air temperature is below 40ÂșC. Reduce the load to decrease heating. The unit will automatically reset once it cools down.

What to do if Samlexpower Inverter has no AC output and the GFCI is off?

      Aaron MosesAug 4, 2025
If the Samlexpower Inverter has no AC output, the green "Power ON" LED is lit, but the green GFCI light is off and there is no buzzer alarm, it indicates that the GFCI has tripped. This can occur due to leakage or a Neutral to Ground bond on the load side. You should check the load side circuits for leakage or Neutral to Ground bonding and correct any issues. Then, press the "Reset Button" on the GFCI to reset it, making sure the inverter is ON before resetting.

Why Samlexpower PST-600-12 has no AC output, buzzer is on, but the Power ON LED is lit?
    • S
      Savannah PriceAug 7, 2025
If the Samlexpower Inverter has no AC output, the green "Power ON" LED is lit, the buzzer is on, and the green indication light on the GFCI is off, it means the unit has shut down due to high input DC voltage (exceeding 16.5V for 12V versions or 33V for 24V versions). Verify that the voltage at the DC input terminals is less than 16.5V for 12V versions or less than 33V for 24V versions. Ensure that the maximum charging voltage of the battery charger, alternator, or solar charge controller is below these limits. Also, avoid using an unregulated solar panel to charge the battery, as its output may exceed these voltage limits, especially in cold temperatures. Use a charge controller between the solar panel and the battery.

Why Samlexpower PST-600-12 buzzer sounds when load is on, but the Power ON LED is lit?
    • A
      angel17Aug 16, 2025
If the buzzer alarm sounds when the load is switched on, and the voltage at the DC input terminals reads between 10 to 10.5V for 12V versions or 20 to 21.0V for 24V versions, while the green "Power ON" LED is lit, the GFCI light is green, and AC output voltage is available, it indicates that the DC input voltage is too low (less than 10.5V for 12V versions or less than 21.0V for 24V versions). To resolve this, ensure the battery is fully charged and recharge it if necessary. Check that the battery cables are thick enough to handle the required current and replace them with thicker cables if needed. Also, tighten all connections in the battery input circuit.

Why Samlexpower Inverter has low AC output voltage?
    • W
      wfosterAug 20, 2025
A low AC output voltage (without a buzzer alarm) on your Samlexpower Inverter can be caused by low input voltage at the inverter terminals, especially when the load is near the maximum allowable power. Check that the battery is fully charged and recharge it if it's low. Ensure the battery cables are thick enough to carry the necessary current; use thicker cables if needed. Tighten the connections of the battery input circuit and reduce the load.

How to troubleshoot a Samlexpower Inverter when the Power ON LED doesn't light up?
    • L
      Leslie MartinezNov 11, 2025
If the green "Power ON" LED on your Samlexpower Inverter does not light up when switched on, the buzzer is off, there is no AC output voltage, and the green GFCI light is off, it indicates a problem with the DC input. This could be due to no voltage at the DC input terminals or the 12V power outlet in the vehicle. Check the continuity of the battery input circuit, ensure the battery fuse or vehicle fuse for the 12V power outlet is intact and replace it if blown. When using the 12V power outlet, make sure the AC load is less than 150W. Also, check that all connections in the battery input circuit are tight. If the issue persists, it could be due to reversed polarity of the DC input voltage, which may have blown the external or internal DC side fuses. Check and replace these fuses. If the un...
