1.4 Oil drying
After working with liquids, it is best to perform an oil drying cycle at
the end of each day to remove the moisture in the pump and maintain
its capacity for maximum vacuum. This function must also be
performed weekly.
1. Select the Dry-Oil programme on the control panel.
2. Lower the cover.
3. The pump runs continuously for 15 minutes. The air inlet valve
is activated every 2 minutes without the pump stopping. The central
display shows the time remaining in minutes until the end of the
cycle.
1.5 Replacement of the hood silicone gasket
The silicone gasket on the hood wears out as cycles are performed
in the packaging machine. Its function is to prevent air from entering
the chamber at the connection between the hood and the tank/table
when the cover is lowered.
