    • J
      Jennifer LambertSep 23, 2025
If unpleasant odors are coming from your Samsung Air Conditioner, and the unit is running in a smoky area or there's a smell from outside, ventilate the room. If indoor temperature and humidity are high, operate the air conditioner in Clean or Fan mode for 1 to 2 hours. If the unit hasn't been used for a while, clean the indoor unit and operate it in Fan mode for 3 to 4 hours to dry the inside. Also, clean the air filter if it's blocked with dirt.

If your Samsung Air Conditioner's wireless remote control isn't working, first check if the batteries are discharged and replace them with new ones. Ensure that nothing is blocking the remote control sensor. Strong light from fluorescent bulbs or neon signs may interfere with the remote control, so check for any nearby.

Warm air may not be coming out of your Samsung Air Conditioner if the outdoor unit is designed for cooling only. In this case, warm air won't come out even if you select the Heat mode. Also, ensure that the remote control supports both cooling and heating. If it doesn't, use a remote control that does.
