Taking photos with the front display
The front display will help take self-portraits or photos of children. You can also use the Couple mode with the front display.
When you press [t Front LCD] repeatedly, the shooting mode changes from Self-portrait mode to Couple mode or to Children mode.
When recording videos, you cannot use the Couple mode.
In some shooting modes, the front display does not display a frame to indicate the detected face and the Self-portrait mode and t
the Couple mode are not available.
In Shooting mode, press [

Front LCD] once.
Your camera will detect your face automatically and display a t
frame to indicate the detected face.
Half-press [

Shutter] to focus.
Press [

Shutter] to take the photo.
Using the Self-portrait mode
Take photos of yourself conveniently using the front display.
You can set the camera to automatically release the shutter when it detects a
smiling face while taking a photo with the front display. (p. 89)
