Recording voice memos
Learn how to record a voice memo that you can play back at any time. You can add a voice memo to a photo as a short reminder of
shooting conditions.
You get the best sound quality when recording 40 cm away from the camera.

Adding a voice memo to a photo
In Shooting mode, press [

Voice Memo.
Press [

] to switch to Shooting mode.
Align your subject in the frame and take a photo.

The camera begins to record a voice memo right after t
you take the photo.
Record a short voice memo (10 seconds maximum).

Press [t Shutter] to stop recording a voice memo.
You cannot add a voice memo to a photo if you set the burst mode.

In Shooting mode, press [

Voice Record.

Shutter] to record.
You can record voice memos of up to 10 hours in length.t

] to pause or resume recording.
Stop Pause

Shutter] to stop.
Press [t Shutter] again to record a new voice memo.
