Device Overview and Physical Components:
The Samsung Galaxy S4 Active features a standard smartphone design with a front and rear view illustrated.
On the front of the device, from top to bottom, you'll find:
- Earpiece: Used for listening during phone calls.
- Light sensor: Automatically adjusts screen brightness based on ambient light.
- Proximity/gesture sensor: Detects when the device is near your face during a call to turn off the screen, or recognizes hand gestures for certain functions.
- Front camera: For taking selfies and video calls.

Resetting Device Password:
If you need to reset your device password:

- Confirm your new password.
- Tap "OK."
AD Account Password Change:
If you receive a "Sign in Failed" message for your City of Philadelphia Account, indicating a password change:
- When prompted, enter your new password.
- The system will show your email address (e.g., First.Last@phila.gov).
- Enter the password prompt, then enter a new password.
- Click "OK."
Encrypted Memory Access:
When using encrypted memory, you will be prompted to enter your PIN or Password to access the device upon startup. You will also be prompted for your password again once on the home screen to access the device.
