This Quick Start guide tells you
how to use some of the common
device features.
How to Turn on the
Device
To turn on your phone to start,
press and hold the Power button
for 2 seconds.
Enter your PIN or Password to use
encrypted memory. Once on the
home screen you will be
prompted for your password
again to access the device.
To turn the phone off, press and
hold the Power button. A Power
Options message will appear. Tap
Power Off on the screen.
How to Answer a Call
1. When you receive a call, the
Incoming Call screen opens
2. Slide the Green phone from
the left to center to answer
3. Slide the Red phone from the
right to center to end call
Create a Calendar Entry
1. From the home screen tap
Calendar icon
2. Tap the Date
you wish to add
3. Tap Event
4. Tap Create New (circled plus
sign in upper right corner)
5. Touch Done
Access Email
1. From the home screen, tap
Email button
To Compose:
1. Tap Compose Icon
2. Tap TO field and enter email
address or name
3. Enter a subject and type the
body of the email
4. Send by tapping
SEND icon
Attach Files
1. Before sending the Email, Tap
the Attachment Icon
Change your Ringtone
1. From the home screen tap
Settings
2. Tap the My Device (at the top)
3. Tap Sound
4. Tap Ringtones
5. Tap the desired ringtone, click
OK
How to Reset
Device Password
1. From the home
screen, tap MENU
button on your device
2. Select SETTINGS
3. Select My device (at
top)
4. Select Lock screen
5. Select Screen lock
6. Confirm password
(this is your current
password)
7. Select password
8. Confirm password
(this is your new
password)
9. OK
