on your phone. You can also create the account at any time at
account.samsung.com.
Having a Samsung account will give you access to several
features on your phone including:

Samsung Cloud allows you to free up memory space on
your device and still have full access to your most important
information. When you use the Cloud, you won’t have to worry
about losing your data to a lost, stolen, or a broken Galaxy
device. You will get an easy and seamless backup, sync, restore,
and upgrade experience across all your Galaxy devices.
You will need to create a Samsung account to access the
Samsung Cloud and other phone features. Once your account
is created, you will have 15GB of storage linked to your account.
Unlimited storage is provided for preloaded Samsung apps such
as Contacts and Calendar.
