Introduction
These notes cover some basic information on how to set up and use your Samsung
GT-N8010 Galaxy Note 10.1 16GB tablet. This material has been prepared by the
Waikato Management School (WMS) IT Team at the
University of Waikato.
These instructions and exercises are designed for
participants enrolled in the School’s Centre for Corporate
& Executive Education 2013 programmes. The emphasis
is on the tablet’s most useful features in an e-learning
environment.
Before you attend the orientation session for your
programme, you need to:
activate your University of Waikato student username and password
(see page 5),
log onto LightWire with your University of Waikato student email account
Check that you have your 1.5GB free internet allocation.

set up your tablet.
