Mute the Ringing Sound
To mute the ringer without rejecting the call, you can do either of the following:
■ Press the Volume Key down.

■ Place the phone face down on a level surface. See Motions and Gestures for options,
including the Mute/pause Motion to mute incoming calls by turning over the phone.
Reject an Incoming Call
The following procedure shows you how to reject and incoming call.
■ Touch and drag to the left. The call will be sent directly to voicemail.
Reject a Call with a Text Message
You can automatically reject an incoming call by sending a text message to the caller.
1. Touch and drag Reject call with message toward the top of the screen.
2. Select an existing message and touch .

Touch Create

essage to send a new text message.
Note: You can edit the reject messages through the Call settings menu. Press
and
touch > Settings > My device tab > Call > Set up call rejection messages.
Voicemail
Your phone automatically transfers all unanswered calls to your voicemail, even if your phone is
turned off. You should set up your Sprint Voicemail and personal greeting as soon as your
phone is activated. Always use a password to protect against unauthorized access.
