Motions and Gestures
Control certain device actions
by touching the screen with the
palm of your hand.
1. From a Home screen, tap Apps >
Settings.
2. Tap Motions and gestures.
3. Tap an option, and tap On/Off to enable each of
the following:
•
Air browse: Scroll through pages or lists of
items by moving your hand over the sensor in
the direction that you would like to scroll.
•
Direct call: Call the contact whose call log,
message, or contact details are currently on
the screen by bringing the device close to
yourear.
•
Smart alert: Set the device to vibrate when
you pick it up to notify you about missed calls
and messages.
•
Mute/pause: Mute or pause sounds and
video by covering the screen or turning over
thedevice.
•
Palm swipe to capture: Capture an image of
the screen when you sweep your hand left or
right across the screen.
