7. Tap to select the contact(s)
you want to import.
8. Tap Copy or Move.
To turn sync on or off:
1. From any Home screen, tap Apps.
2. Tap Settings.
3. Tap Accounts and sync.
4. Perform one of the following actions:

Tap to select or clear the
Background data check
box to turn sync on or
off for all accounts.

Tap the desired account and
then tap the check mark next
to the item you want to start
or stop syncing. Tap the Sync
icon in the top right corner
of the screen to sync.
TEXT MESSAGING
Access text messaging
From any Home screen, tap Apps then tap
Messaging.
Read a text message
From the Status bar:
Tap the Notication icon when it appears on
the Status bar.
From the Notications screen:
1. Tap the right corner of the Status bar
to open the Notications screen.
2. Tap the new message notication
to read the message.
From the Messaging screen:
1. From any Home screen, tap Apps.
2. Tap Messaging.
3. Tap the conversation containing
the message you want to read.
