6. Keeping your computer up to date
Windows updates
FollowthesestepstokeepWindowsuptodate:
1. Click Start at the bottom left of the screen.
2. Choose Control Panel.
3. Click Check for updates (under 'Security').
4. Click View advanced options (under 'Turn on now').
5. Click Check for updates but let me choose whether to download and
install them. Click OK.
6. Click Continue. And follow the on screen instructions.
7. Adding McAfee security
McAfee Internet Security is included in your contract. Your computer will be protected
by McAfee as soon as you set it up. But you’ll need to register to get updates and
keep your computer as safe as possible.
How to get your password
Within two days of buying your laptop, we’ll send you your username and password
intwoways:
