Youare advised to cleanthe appliance and
accessoriesbefore switchingthe appliance
on for the first time to remove any dust that
accumulatedduring packing and shipping.
Switch on the appliance for approximately2
hours beforeloading it with frozen food for
thefirst time. Do not load with frozen food
until thefreezer temperatureis at least O°F.
If you want to store frozen food as soon as
possible,set the temperature control to the
coldesttemperature (-14°F) and let the
applianceoperate for one hour.
The appliance ispreset for normal
operation.We recommendtemperaturesof
38°F in the fridge and -2°F in the freezer.
The interior light of the appliance will light
up when the door is open.
This interior light will go out when the door
is closed.
Yourappliance is operatedby a compressor
which switches "on and off" to maintain the
internaltemperature.When the compressor
is new,it requires runningfor a period of up
to five months.During this period, it may be
slightly noisy.This is quite normal and does
not represent a fault.
Storefood oncethe temperaturein the
refrigeratorissufficientlylow.It takesa few
hoursafter startingthe refrigeratorto reach
thepropertemperature.
Ifthe appliancedoes notoperate correctly,
checkthe electricitysupply.Ifthe problem
persists,contactyour dealer.
