Peak Demand Off (Override mode)
When you want the refrigerator to ignore the SMART GRID (Demand Response) signal from
the utility company, you can activate Peak Demand Off (Override mode).
When you activate Peak Demand Off (Override mode), the refrigerator ignores the SMART
GRID (Demand Response) signal and is not controlled by the utility company.
Activating and deactivating Peak Demand Off (Override mode)
Type A model
1. To activate Peak Demand Off (Override mode), tap until the Peak Demand indicator
blinks.
2. Tap to select the Peak Demand Off.
- The corresponding indicator (Peak Demand Off) turns on.
- If the refrigerator receives a SMART GRID (Demand Response) signal from the utility
company, ‘Or’ is displayed in the fridge indicator.
3. To deactivate Peak Demand Off (Override mode), tap until the Peak Demand indicator
blinks.
4. Tap to select the Peak Demand On.
- The corresponding indicator (Peak Demand On) turns on.
Type B model
1. To activate/decativate Peak Demand Off (Override mode), Press the button for 3
seconds, while not changing other display settings.
2. When the Peak Demand Off function is deactivated, if you press button for 3 seconds
the Peak Demand Off function will be activated.
- The corresponding indicator ( ) turns on.
- If the refrigerator receives a SMART GRID (Demand Response) signal from the utility
company, ‘Or’ is displayed in the fridge indicator.
3. When the Peak Demand Off function is activated, if you press button for 3 seconds
the Peak Demand Off function will be deactivated.
- The corresponding indicator ( ) turns off.
