Performing Leak Test & Vacuum Drying
Before completing the installation(insulation of the hose and piping),
you must check that there are no gas leaks and remove air in the unit.
Purge the refrigerant pipes and perform the vacuum test.

Set the outdoor unit valves to the open position, then the refrigerant circulate
through whole air conditioner system.

Inject nitrogen into the pipes until the pressure becomes 2kg/cm
2
at least.

Check for gas leaks by using soapy water.

Let the pipes under 28kg/cm
2
pressure for 24 hours, then check that the
pressure has been decreased.

Discharge the nitrogen.

Make the pipes vacuous.

If the piping is longer than the standard length, refrigerant must be added.

The pressure should not be increased for 1 minute.
