S Pen features
Air command
Remove the S Pen from the slot, or hover the S Pen over any part of the screen and press the
S Pen button to access four useful features.
With the air command features, you can perform various actions.
Image clip
Screen write
Action memo
Smart select

Action memo
: Write memos quickly and link actions to them. You can make calls,
send messages, search the web, and more. Refer to Action memo for more information.

Smart select
: Collect content quickly. Refer to Smart select for more information.

Image clip
: Draw around an area of the screen you want to save or share. Refer to
Image clip for more information.
•
Screen write
: Capture, edit, and write memos on screenshots, and then share them.
Refer to Screen write for more information.
If this feature is not activated, open the All apps screen, tap
Settings
→
S Pen
→
Air
command
, and then tap the
Air command
switch to activate it.
