Phone Basics
Assigning Speed Dial Numbers
Your phone can assign speed dial locations to as many as
98 Contact phone numbers. For details on how to make
calls using speed dial numbers, see “Using Speed Dialing”
on page 36.
To assign a speed dial number to a new or existing phone
number:
1. Select MENU > Contacts
>
Speed Dial #s
.
2. Select an available speed dial location and press
Assign ( ). The Find screen is displayed.
3. Find and select a Contact and press .
4. Select one of the Contact’s phone numbers and press
Assign ( ) to save the assignment
. The
Speed Dial #s screen is displayed showing the new
Speed Dial assignment.
5. Press to return to standby mode.
Note:
If you select a location that already has a Contacts entry
associated, you can press Edit to replace the current Contact
phone number.
