One Contact to assign the picture to a single entry in your contacts list.
Assign a Picture ID to Unsaved Numbers
1. Press > Settings > Display > Picture ID > Unsaved Numbers.
2. Select No Image, Take New Picture (see Taking Pictures), My Albums, Downloaded
or Preloaded and press .
Assign a Picture ID to Private or Unknown Numbers
1. Press > Settings > Display > Picture ID > Private/Unknown.
2. Select No Image, Take New Picture (see Taking Pictures), My Albums, Downloaded
or Preloaded and press .
Changing the Backlight Control
Select how long the display screen and keypad remain backlit after you press any key.
1. Press > Settings > Display > Backlight Control.
2. Select Backlight Dim, Backlight Off, or Java Backlight.
3. Highlight a time setting and press .
Note: Long backlight settings reduce the battery’s talk and standby times.
Adjusting the Brightness
Adjust your screen’s contrast (brightness) to suit your surroundings.
1. Press > Settings > Display > Brightness.
2. Press your navigation key left or right to adjust the screen contrast and press .
Applying PowerSave Mode
PowerSave Mode preserves the battery charge life and automatically turns off the screen after a
certain period of time when you leave it idle. Activating this feature applies the following
settings:
Backlight Dim is set to Always Dim.
Backlight Off is set to 15 seconds.
Keypad light is set to Off.
