Changing the camera’s focus
Using selection focus
You can focus on a particular part of your scene. Select where
you want to focus.
In Shooting mode, press [

].
Select

Functions Focus Area Selection AF.
Move Set
Rotate or press the navigation button to move the frame

to the area you want to focus and press [

].
Press [

Shutter] to take the photo.
Press [t

] to change the focus area.
If you use this function, the face detection options are not available.

Adjusting the focus distance manually
In Shooting mode, press [

].
Select

Manual Focus.
Rotate the navigation button to adjust the focus

distance.
When you adjust the focus distance manually and the subject is out of t
focus, the photo may become blurry.
If you use this function, you cannot set the face detection and focus t
area options.
