      victorhughesAug 23, 2025
If there's no picture on your Samsung LED TV, start by checking all cable connections; remove and reconnect them to the TV and any external devices. Ensure your external devices (like Cable/Set-top Box, DVD, Blu-ray players) have their video outputs set to match the TV input connections. Verify that all connected devices are powered on, and select the correct source on your TV using the SOURCE button on the remote. Finally, try rebooting the connected device by disconnecting and reconnecting its power cable.

If your Samsung LED TV turns off automatically, check that the Sleep Timer is set to Off in the Time menu. If a PC is connected, review your PC's power settings. Ensure the AC power cord is securely plugged into the wall outlet and the TV. Also, if watching TV from an aerial or cable connection, the TV will turn off after 10 to 15 minutes if there is no signal.

Why is the picture distorted on my Samsung LED TV?
    • J
      Jessica DavisSep 7, 2025
Picture distortion on your Samsung LED TV, such as macroblock errors, small blocks, dots, or pixelization, can be caused by compression of video content, especially in fast-moving scenes like sports or action movies. It can also be due to a low signal level or poor signal quality, which is not a TV issue. Additionally, mobile phones used close to the TV (within approximately 1 meter) may cause noise in the picture on analogue and digital TV.

    Nathan WintersSep 4, 2025
Why doesn't my Samsung LED TV picture look as good as in the store?
    • J
      Justin LeSep 4, 2025
If your Samsung LED TV picture quality isn't as good as it appeared in the store, consider upgrading to a digital set-top box if you're using an analogue one. Use HDMI or Component cables for HD picture quality. Cable/Satellite subscribers should try HD stations. Aerial connections should try HD stations after performing Auto tuning. Adjust the Cable/Set-top box video output resolution to 1080i or 720p. Finally, ensure you are watching the TV from the minimum recommended distance based on the screen size and signal definition.
