The TV won't turn on.

Ensure power cord is plugged in securely. Check wall outlet and power indicator. Try the TV's power button.

There is no picture/video/sound...

Check cable connections, input source, and perform TV self-diagnosis. Reboot devices if tests are normal.

The remote control does not work.

Check TV power indicator, battery installation, and try pointing directly at the TV from 1.5-1.8m.

The cable or satellite box remote control doesn't turn the TV on or off or adjust the volume.

Program the cable/satellite box remote using the SAMSUNG TV code from its user manual.

The TV settings are lost after 5 minutes.

The TV is in Retail Mode. Change Usage Mode to Home Mode via Settings > General > System Manager.

Intermittent Wi-Fi

Ensure correct Wi-Fi password and check distance to router. Minimize interference from other wireless devices.

Video App problems (Youtube etc)

Change DNS to 8.8.8.8 or reset Smart Hub via Settings > Support > Self Diagnosis.

Eco Sensor and screen brightness

Eco Sensor auto-adjusts brightness for power saving. Do not block the sensor to maintain brightness.
