POWER
Switch
Power
is
supplied
to
the
unit
when
this
switch
is
depressed
to
ON.
When
released
to
the
STAND-BY
position,
the
main
circuitry
power
is
cut
off.
NOTE:
Even
when
the
POWER
switch
is
at.
the
STAND-BY
position.
power
still
flows
to
part
of
the
interna!
circuitry.
When
the
unit
is
not
being
used
for
a
long
time.
the
power
plug
should
be
disconnected
fr-
om
the
AC
outlet.
If
the
unit's
power
plug
is
connected
to
the
ampli-
fier's
AC
outlet
(SWITCHED).
the
power
to
all
circuits
of
the
unit
can
be
switched
on
and
off
using
the
amplifier’s
power
switch.

Equalizer
Controls
These
controls
allow
the
levels
approximate
to
the
frequencies
indicat-
ed
above
the
controls
to
be
continuously
controlled
from
+12
dB
to
-
12
dB
for
the
{eft
and
right
channels
separately.
The
level
is
made
flat
when
the
controls
are
set
to
the
center
‘’0"’
posi-
tion.
The
level
is
increased
when
the
controls
are
slid
up
from
this
center
position
and
decreased
when
they
are
slid
down.
Adjust
each
of
the
frequency
levels
to
your
preference
or
requirements.
e
When
the
EQUALIZER
switch
is
at
the
‘‘OFF
(mm
)’’
position,
the
sound
quality
cannot
be
compensated
for
even
by
operating
the
controls.

INPUT
Switch
This
switch
is
for
selecting
the
program
source.
When
you
wish
to
playback
a
program
source
selected
with
your
stereo
amplifier,
this
switch
is
set
to
the
released
position
(SOURCE
C1).
When
you
wish
to
play
a
component
connected
to
the
TAPE
terminals
on
the
unit’s
rear
panel,
press
the
switch
to
its
depressed
position
(TA-
PE
mm).

EQUALIZER
Switch
This
is
the
ON/OFF
switch
for
the
output
signals’
equalizing
function.
When
this
switch
is
placed
in
the
ON
position,
you
can
perform
equali-
zation
of
the
output
signals.
When
the
switch
is
in
the
OFF
position,
the
output
signals’
frequency
response
will
be
flat,
regardless
of
the
po-
sition
of
the
equalizing
controls.
