Why Sanyo DVD Recorder timer recording not working?
    • J
      Julie BurgessJul 31, 2025
The Sanyo DVD Recorder might fail to record even with the timer set due to several reasons. Ensure a recordable disc is loaded, and that 'Disc Protect' is turned off in the Disc menu. If the disc is full with 99 titles, delete some to free space. Also, stop playback before setting the timer, as the unit might be in stop or power-off mode during DVD or tape playback.

You may be unable to set a timer program on your Sanyo DVD Recorder if a recording is already in progress; wait for it to finish. You also can't set a timer for a time that has already passed, so select a future time. If you already have 8 timer programs set, delete one to make room for a new one.
