Why does my Scag Power Equipment SW32-14FS leave strips of uncut grass?
- SSusan MayJul 31, 2025
If your Scag Power Equipment Lawn Mower leaves strips of uncut grass in the cutting path, it could be due to several reasons. The blades might be dull or worn, or they might be incorrectly sharpened, so sharpen or replace them. Low engine RPM can also cause this, so ensure you run the engine at full RPM. Other possible causes include a slipping belt (adjust belt tension), a plugged deck with grass accumulation (clean the underside of the deck), ground speed being too fast (slow down), wet grass (cut after it has dried), or bent blades (replace the blades).
