• Hold the device as shown in the manual's illustrations.
• Press down gently until a red light appears, indicating proper contact with the surface.
• Slide the Scanmarker Air in one fluid motion, avoiding scanning too slowly.
• Scan one line of text at a time, keeping the text between the edges of the tip.
• Avoid applying excessive pressure during scanning.
• When scanning a single word, start well before the word begins and continue the scan well beyond it, but avoid scanning multiple words simultaneously.
• For iOS/Android devices, enabling "Connect to cloud" is recommended for faster scanning speeds. Disabling cloud scanning might slow down older mobile phones, especially if the internet connection is slow or unavailable.
