The adapters are used in the following vehicles:
F AD 01: Fiat Ducato and comparable vehicle models with D + ”active
ground”, i.e. when the engine is running, D+ ”active ground” is to earth
F AD 02: Mercedes Sprinter and comparable vehicle models
F AD 03: Any v ehicles, switch signals configurable
The adapters include:
F Switch relay
F Flat vehicle fuses for protecting the 12V circuits
F Current limiter for the D+ output (only AD 01, AD 03)
For operation, the adapters must be connected to the appropriate control
voltages of the vehicle (vehicle lighting ON, D+, ignition ON, control voltage
1 and auxiliary heater (AD 01) / 4 (AD 02), low-beam light ON (AD 03)) and
the battery voltage.
Y Input Aux. heater (for AD 01) / input 4 (for AD 02) is connected to ground.
Connections are provided for:
F Four additional position lights (fuse: 5 A)
F An auxiliary heater (fuse: 15 A)
F Devices w ith a permanent supply (fuse: 15 A)
F Devices that cannot be switched on until the ignition is switched on (fuse:
15 A)
F D+ control v oltage for devices that cannot be switched on until the engine
is running (electronically restricted to 2 A)
Connections are provided for:
F Four additional position lights (fuse: 5 A)
