7. PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE
Always operate the vacuum cleaner with the lter. Never sink the vacuum cleaner in
water.
ATTENTION
1. CLEANING OF THE FILTER
A. To remove dirt from the dust collector, open up the appliance as shown in gures 7.1 and 7.2.
B. Remove the dust collector, protection and then the lter.
C. Empty the dust collector.
D. Clean the lter as follows:
• Brush the lter to remove the dirt.
• Shake all the lter for the dirt to come off.
• Wash the lter in warm water with mild soap or detergent. If necessary, also wash the dust collector.
• Make sure the lter is completely dry and free of residues before putting it back in place.
E. Replace the lter at every 6 to 9 months or whenever necessary. Spare lters are available at a SCHULZ
dealer.
Note: Turn of the vacuum cleaner and disconnect the plug from the power supply before beginning any cleaning
or maintenance job in the product.

2. CLEANING OF THE PLASTIC PARTS
A. Use only mild soap and a cloth moistened in warm water to clean the plastic parts of the device.
B. Avoid any other kind of detergent, cleaner or solvent because these products may contain chemicals that
could damage the plastic parts.
