Usage Features:

  • Unpacking and Inspection:

    • Remove plastic packaging and all loose parts from boxes/bags.
    • Verify serial numbers match shipping documents.
    • Inspect for shipping damage (dents, scratches).
    • Remove internal packing materials.
    • Ensure interior cables are firmly connected and circuit board assemblies have no loose connections.
    • Open logic door, re-seat flash media if necessary.
    • Contact distributor for RMA if damaged or parts are missing.
  • Door Operation:

    • Main Door: Turn main door lock clockwise, pull silver handle, lift the monitor on each side to open. To close, lower the monitor until it rests parallel with the machine, then push towards the machine until it clicks into place.
    • Lower Door: Turn lower door lock clockwise, swing door from right to left to open. To close, swing from left to right until it securely connects to the cabinet.
    • Bill Acceptor Cash Box Access Door: Turn lock clockwise, swing door from left to right to open. To close, swing from right to left until it securely connects to the cabinet.
    • Lower Cabinet Panel: Open lower door and bill acceptor cash box access door. Pull tab at the top of the panel towards you to open. To close, align the bottom of the panel with the machine base, align white plastic squares with the top of the cabinet, and push until it clicks into place.
    • General Door Safety: Secure doors with locks, inspect latches/hinges for wear, hold/support doors when opening/closing, ensure no foreign objects in door frame, and avoid excessive force.
  • Securing the Machine:

    • Ensure the new location has appropriate power and network cabling.
    • Use a lifting/moving device (e.g., hand truck with solid tires) to move the machine.
    • Place the machine at the desired location, ensuring the back and sides are not exposed or accessible by players.
    • Do not place the machine on wires or cables.
    • For multiple cabinets, place them side-by-side or back-to-back and secure them if applicable.
    • Examples for placement: against a wall/corner (single cabinet or single line), back-to-back (multiple freestanding, even numbers), in pods (multiple freestanding, odd numbers), or in a tower configuration (multiple grouped, even numbers).
  • Operational Tasks:

    • Attendant Pays and Canceling Credits: For lockups (e.g., Jackpot Handpay Pending, Cashout Handpay, Pay Win Handpay), pay the player, then turn the attendant key switch (audit key switch) to restore operation.
    • Collecting Bills from the Machine: Open the bill acceptor cash box access door, turn the bill acceptor cash box door lock clockwise, pull the cash box door down, remove the full cash box, insert an empty one, then close and lock both doors.
    • Refilling the Printer Paper: Open the main door, place the paper in the paper tray in the correct orientation, insert the paper into the printer mechanism, and close the main door.
    • Note: Printer paper refill procedures depend on machine model, added equipment, and jurisdiction. Use appropriate coupon paper matching printer size and capacity.

Maintenance Features:

  • Preventing Injury and Damage:

    • Preventing Shock: Always remove power before service tasks.
    • Preventing ESD: Use appropriate ESD mitigation procedures.
    • Replacing Power Cord: Must be replaced by the manufacturer, service agent, or similarly qualified persons.
    • Securing and Venting Equipment: Cabinet, top, or accessory box must be correctly secured and installed with adequate ventilation.
    • Ladder Safety: Follow company-mandated ladder safety procedures, do not exceed maximum load rating, and be aware of weight supported.
    • Caution: If a new machine is damaged, do not remove existing parts for use in another machine.
