This chapter provides functional description of the CODICO

E-1710/1720
Compact DSNG Encoders. This description includes definition of the basic,
standard and custom options available, a block-diagram level description of the
encoder’s architecture and description of the mechanical structure of the
encoder.

family products, the E-1710/1720 DSNG Encoder features

The CODICO

E-1710/1720 Compact DSNG Encoder is based on the CODICO
®
E-1000 Series Encoders and a built-in DSNG Modulator Unit.
Figure 1-4 illustrates the functional structure of the E-1710/1720 and the signal
flow path.
