  If alcohol is detected during the installation of your SCRAM Systems Measuring Instruments bracelet, make sure that no sanitizers or cleaners other than water or Sporicidin are being used on the bracelet or client. Perform a breathalyzer test to confirm that the client hasn't been drinking. You can also try replacing the faceplate, performing observed readings, and using Direct Connect on the bracelet. Assigning another bracelet is also an option. If alcohol is still detected, the client may be emitting alcohol or there could be an interferant on the client or installer.

If not, perform a hard reset: remove the battery, hold a magnet on the upper-left corner of the bracelet, and reinsert the battery. If problems persist, contact AMS.
