Alerts/Events Description
Open Strap Detected
Alert
Generated immediately after the base station detects
that the bracelet strap has been cut.
Power Loss Alert Generated when the base station loses AC power and
is operating on the backup battery.
Power Restore Alert Generated when AC power is re-applied to the base
station.
Return from
Unauthorized Leave
Alert
Generated when the client returns to the home from
an unauthorized leave, unless that client returns during
an authorized leave window.
Telephone Restore
Alert
Generated when phone service is interrupted then
re-established.
Unauthorized Leave
Alert
Generated when a client moves outside the range
of the base station at a time when that client is not
allowed to do so.
Unauthorized
Return Alert
Generated when the client returns to the home before
the end time of a “Must Leave” leave window.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Issue Indication Recommended Action
Bracelet will not
power up/no
green light
Indicates that the
bracelet is not powering
up.
Replace bracelet battery.
Perform a bracelet reset:
1. Remove battery.
2. Hold magnet on upper-left
corner of bracelet.
3. Reinsert battery.
Contact AMS.
Bracelet will not
communicate with
base station
Indicates that the
bracelet is not
communicating and
transferring data to the
base station.
Instruct client to read information
from base station.
Instruct client to read the base
station serial number and verify
that the number matches the serial
number displayed on the client’s
Equipment page.
Wake bracelet with magnet and
observe if the base station begins
reading information from bracelet.
Perform bracelet hard reset:
1. Remove battery.
2. Hold magnet on upper-left
corner of bracelet.
3. Reinsert battery.
