Also, inspect the fuel filter for clogs or water contamination (carburetor-equipped models) and clean it, checking the fuel tank for water. Replace any fouled or defective spark plugs and avoid misusing the choke (carburetor-equipped models). If the engine is fuel-flooded or if there's a faulty component in the fuel injection system (RFI models) or an electrical problem (RFI models), or a burnt fuel pump fuse (RFI models), you should refer to an authorized Sea-Doo dealer.

Specifically, check the battery and starting system fuses on carburetor-equipped models, or the starter solenoid fuse on RFI models. Note that for a discharged battery, corroded or loose battery connections, water-flooded or seized engine, faulty MPEM, sensor, VCM or ECM on carburetor-equipped models, or seized jet pump you should refer to an authorized Sea-Doo dealer.
