Why won't my Sealey Remote Starter jump start my car?

  Your Sealey Roadstart® might fail to jump start your car due to several reasons. First, check the clamps for a poor connection to the battery or frame, ensuring the connection points are clean and rocking the clamps for a better connection. Also, the Roadstart® battery may not be charged; check its status by pressing the button on the front. The vehicle’s battery could also be defective and need to be checked. Finally, the fuse might have blown and need replacement.

What to do if my Sealey Remote Starter won't power my 12V device?

  If your Sealey Roadstart® isn't powering your 12V device, start by ensuring the 12V device is turned on. Also, check the Roadstart® battery charge status by pressing the button on the front. If the 12V device draws more than 15A or has a short circuit, disconnect it and wait a minute or two for the internal breaker to automatically reset. Then, try the 12V device again; if it still fails, consider replacing the 12V device.

  If the red BAD BATTERY LED is lit and the yellow/orange CHARGING LED is flashing rapidly on your Sealey Remote Starter, it indicates that desulfation was unsuccessful, and the battery may be defective. Ensure there are no loads on the battery; if there are, remove them. If there are no loads, have the battery checked or replaced.

  If the green POWER LED doesn't light when the charger is properly connected to your Sealey Remote Starter, the AC outlet might be dead. Check for an open fuse or circuit breaker at the supplying AC outlet. Also, there might be a poor electrical connection; check the power cord and extension cord for a loose-fitting plug.
