      If your Sears Lawn Mower engine won't start, here are a few things to check: * Ensure the PTO/Blade Engage lever is disengaged (OFF). * Engage the parking brake. * Make sure the spark plug wires are connected to the spark plugs. * Position the Throttle/Choke lever into the FAST position. * Move the Throttle/Choke lever into the Choke position. * Check that the fuel tank isn't empty and the fuel is fresh (less than 30 days old). * Inspect the fuel line for blockages; replace the fuel line and fuel filter if needed. * Examine the spark plugs; clean, adjust the gap, or replace them if faulty. * If the engine is flooded, crank it with the throttle in the FAST position. * Check the fuse(s) and replace if blown.
