Why is my sebra 2600 Portable Generator arcing or producing bad seals?
    • Z
      zdennisAug 4, 2025
Arcing or bad seals in your Sebra Portable Generator can occur due to several reasons. The sealing area might be contaminated, so you should clean the sealing jaws. Moisture in the sealing area or on the tubing can also cause this issue, so ensure the tubing's exterior, the sealing region, and adjacent areas are clean and dry. If you're using a hand-held lever, make sure you're not releasing it prematurely; wait until the sealing indicator light is off. Ensure the sealing head is being used properly and that you are using tubing for blood and blood products (usually PVC). Also, ensure the sealing head jaws close evenly.

What to do if my sebra 2600 is not sealing?
    • R
      Rhonda BriggsAug 18, 2025
If your Sebra Portable Generator isn't sealing, several factors could be at play. First, check that the power source is correctly connected and that the AC power switch is in the '|' (on) position with the RF ready light illuminated. If you're using a Hand-Held Sealing Head, consider replacing the Model 1103 RF cable if there is a RF cable malfunction. Also, ensure the fuse(s) is (are) not blown, replace if needed.
