To Change the Tester’s Security Code
1. Press
ON
on the Transmitter Tester; A steady green power (“PWR”) light should display;
NOTE: A blinking green power (PWR) light indicates a low battery. Replace the Tester
battery before proceeding.
2. Press *23456 (security code);
3. Immediately press 5. The Tester will display "NEW CODE";
4. Enter the new five digit security code. The Tester will display "CODE OK";
5. This new code is stored in non-volatile memory and will be retained permanently, or, until the code is changed
again. To make future code changes simply repeat the above procedure – again, using *and the current code,
then 5, and enter the next code to be used.
