Why is my Securitron lock's holding force reduced?

  If you notice a reduced holding force in your Securitron lock, verify that the DC power source is Full-Wave Rectified (Half-wave Rectifier or AC Power is unacceptable). Also, check for the specified voltage and current draw at the Magnalock. Furthermore, ensure the strike mounting is properly installed. Finally, inspect the Magnalock and strike for any obstructions and confirm that the contact surfaces are clean.

What to do if my Securitron BondSTAT lock does not report secure?

  If the BondSTAT on your Securitron lock isn't reporting a secure status, begin by checking for the specified voltage and current draw at the Magnalock.   If your Securitron Magnalock fails to release, first ensure that no voltage is present at the Magnalock and that it is not drawing current. Check if the strike is sticky or hard to release.
