The cooler might be located near a source of unpleasant odor; remove the source or relocate the cooler. Algae in the reservoir water can also cause odors; drain the reservoir, clean it thoroughly with a strong cleansing agent, and refill it. If the cores remain wet after shutdown, run the cooler on VENT mode after the cooling cycle to dry the heat exchanger cores.

Alternatively, the external static pressure might be too high; increase the size of ducts and room registers/grilles. Core seals/spreaders might have moved during transport; check spreader assemblies are securely clamped to the top of cores and gaps between cores are covered up, and ensure core doors are correctly sealing against sides of cores.

The wall control temperature setpoint could be incorrect; adjust the setpoint or relocate the wall control to a more suitable location. For Supercool coolers, the DEC stage might not be operating; ensure the controller humidity setpoint isn't too high and that the cooler device type is set correctly (CW-H15S or CW-H15S Plus).
