Appendix 4: Replacement of protective cushion
If the protective pads wear out after a period of use, you can replace them
by yourself.
Steps:
a. Unscrew the screw under the protective pad with an hex wrench.
b. Align the new protective pad with the holes and tighten the screw.
Open the rubber cap and
remove the screws. Pull out
the steering bar.
Disassembly is completed
after removing the steering
bar bracket. If you cannot
remove the bracket by hand,
continue to step .

Press the power button
to turn off the Ninebot S.
Lift one corner along the gap.

Remove the lid.

Use the tools provided to remove the steering bar bracket from the Ninebot S.
The steps are as follows:
a. Place the steering bar removal
tool into the screw holes.
b. Fasten the two metal molds by inserting
the two nuts. Insert the two M5 screws
and tighten.
c. Insert the M6 screw and tighten
with a 5 mm hex wrench, until the
steering bar bracket falls off.
