Watch Instructions: Seiko NH35 Automatic Watches
SETTING THE DATE
1. Pull out the crown to the 1st position.
2. Rotate the crown clockwise (upward) to set the date.
3. Push the crown back in to the normal crown position.
Important: Do not change the date between 9:00 PM (21:00) and 4:00 AM as this may damage the
functionality and operation of the calendar.
SETTING THE TIME
1. Pull out the crown to the 2nd position.
2. Rotate the crown to set the hour and minute hands.
3. Push the crown back in to the normal crown position.
HACKING THE SECOND HAND
The second hand can be stopped to synchronize the time to another watch.
1. To stop the second hand, pull out the crown to the 2nd position.
2. Push the crown back in to the normal crown position when ready to synchronize.
WINDING THE MAINSPRING BY SIMPLY WEARING THE WATCH
By simply wearing the watch on your wrist, the mainspring is wound automatically as a result of the natural
motion of your arm.
WINDING THE MAINSPRING MANUALLY
Rotate the crown counter clockwise (downward) 8 times in the normal crown position and shake the watch
slightly.
