BUTTERMILK WAFFLES:
Ingredients:
• 2 cups all-purpose our
• 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
• 1 teaspoon baking powder
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1/4 cup sugar
Directions:
1. Preheat wafe maker.
2. In medium sized mixing bowl whisk together our, baking soda, baking powder, salt and sugar.
3. In separate bowl, beat together eggs and melted butter. Add buttermilk.
4. Add wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until combined.
5. Allow to sit for 4 to 5 minutes.
6. Add 1/2 cup wafe mixture to the wafe maker and close the lid.
7. Bake between 2 and 4 minutes, using a toothpick to check that the wafe is thoroughly cooked.
Makes 8 to 10 wafes
CINNAMON WAFFLES:
Ingredients:

• 1 1/2 tablespoons sugar
• 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
• 3 eggs, beaten
• 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
• 2 cups buttermilk
• 2 eggs, separated
• 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
• 1 cup buttermilk
• 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
