  Your Selva Outboard Motor might not be starting due to several reasons, including a defective electric circuit, an empty fuel tank, or an incorrectly connected, flattened, or kinked fuel hose. Other potential causes are a malfunctioning fuel pump, improper fuel or motor oil, a wrongly adjusted carburetor, or wrong timing. Issues with the starting procedure, fouled spark-plugs, improper spark-plugs, an incorrect spark-plug gap, or an incorrectly fitted spark-plug cap could also be the reason.
