Why is my Sencor SBP 1100WH showing higher values than at the doctor's office?

The blood pressure value measured at home may be higher than the value measured at the doctor because the cuff may be incorrectly positioned on the arm, or it is not fitted sufficiently firmly. Ensure the cuff is correctly fitted and located on your arm. Also, make sure you are sitting correctly, following the instructions and recommendations in the user's manual; avoid slouching, bending, crossing your legs, or positioning the arm with the cuff below heart level.
