Overview

The SENCOR SVC 6000BK is a bagged vacuum cleaner designed for household and office use, offering efficient cleaning with a focus on user safety and convenience. It is not intended for industrial or outdoor use.

Function Description

This vacuum cleaner operates by drawing in air and debris through a suction opening, which then passes through a flexible hose, telescopic metal tube, and various nozzles before being collected in a dust bag. The air is then filtered through an inflow micro-filter and an outflow HEPA filter before being expelled, ensuring that dust and allergens are effectively captured. The device features an electronic suction power control, allowing users to adjust the cleaning intensity based on the surface being vacuumed. An automatic power cord winding button provides convenient storage of the power cord after use. The vacuum cleaner is equipped with both front swivel travel wheels and rubber-coated rear travel wheels for easy maneuverability.

Usage Features

To prepare the vacuum cleaner for use, ensure that the dust bag, inflow micro-filter, and outflow HEPA filter are correctly installed. The flexible hose is then slid into the connection hole until it locks securely. When disassembling the hose, both locking clips at its end must be pressed while pulling it out. The telescopic metal tube can be attached to the handle of the flexible hose and its length adjusted by releasing a clip, sliding the extensible part, and then re-locking the clip at the desired length. The floor nozzle, which features an extensible brush, connects to the free end of the telescopic tube. A 2-in-1 brush and slot nozzle attachment is also provided, which can be directly attached to either the flexible hose handle or the telescopic tube for versatile cleaning.

To start the vacuum cleaner, pull out the power cord to the required length (indicated by yellow and red marks, warning against pulling past the red mark) and connect it to a power socket. Press the On/Off button to power on the device. For smooth hard floor surfaces, the brush on the floor nozzle should be extended, while for carpets, it should be retracted. The slot nozzle is ideal for reaching tight spaces, and the brush nozzle is suitable for various types of furniture. Suction power can be regulated using the electronic control slider on the main unit or a mechanical flap on the handle of the flexible hose.

After cleaning, turn off the vacuum cleaner by pressing the On/Off button and disconnect the power cord from the socket. To rewind the power cord, press and hold the automatic power cord winding button, gently guiding the cord with one hand. If the cord does not wind completely, release the button, pull the cord out by approximately 50 cm, and try again.

The vacuum cleaner offers two parking positions for storage. For horizontal parking, use the stopper on the floor nozzle and the groove on the main unit. For vertical parking, first set the telescopic tube to its shortest length, then position the vacuum cleaner vertically and slide the stopper on the floor nozzle into the designated groove.

Maintenance Features

Regular maintenance is crucial for optimal performance. Before any cleaning or maintenance, always ensure the vacuum cleaner is turned off and disconnected from the power socket.

The dust bag needs to be replaced when the full dust bag indicator illuminates. To do this, release the clip and open the top cover of the vacuum cleaner. Remove the used dust bag from its holder and insert a new bag designed for this model. Timely replacement prevents a reduction in suction power.

Both the inflow micro-filter and the outflow HEPA filter require cleaning and eventual replacement. To access the inflow micro-filter, release the clip, open the top cover, and slide out the grill. Remove the micro-filter, rinse it under running lukewarm water, and allow it to air dry completely before reinserting it and closing the cover. If the micro-filter shows signs of wear or heavy soiling, it should be replaced with a new one.

For the outflow HEPA filter, release and remove its grill. For light soiling, tap out the filter, preferably away from living areas. For heavier soiling, wash it under a weak current of running lukewarm water to remove dirt from the folds. Allow the HEPA filter to dry naturally before reinserting it and securing it with the grill. It is recommended to replace the HEPA filter with a new one every 6 months. Neglecting filter cleaning reduces their effectiveness. Always ensure filters are completely dry before reinserting them into the vacuum cleaner.

The flexible hose, telescopic tube, floor nozzle, and the 2-in-1 attachment should be cleaned of any accumulated dirt (dust, hair, animal fur, etc.) when they become soiled.

The outer surface of the vacuum cleaner can be cleaned with a dry or lightly dampened cloth, then wiped thoroughly dry. Avoid using steel wool, abrasive cleaning products, solvents, or submerging the vacuum cleaner in water or any other liquid.

The vacuum cleaner is designed for safe operation, but users must be aware of certain precautions. It should not be used to vacuum smouldering cigarettes, burning items, matches, embers, water or other liquids, flammable or volatile materials, sharp items (e.g., broken glass, needles), flour, wall plaster, cement, other building materials, or large pieces of paper or plastic bags that could block the suction opening. The suction nozzle or tube should not be placed against any part of the face. Always turn off and disconnect the vacuum cleaner from the power socket when leaving it unsupervised, after use, and before cleaning. When disconnecting the power cord, always pull the plug, not the cord, to prevent damage. If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced at a professional service centre; using the vacuum cleaner with a damaged cord is forbidden. Do not attempt to repair or adjust the vacuum cleaner yourself if it is not working correctly, is damaged, or has been submerged in water; all repairs should be performed by an authorised service centre to avoid voiding legal rights.
