Questions and Answers

Overview

The SENCOR SVC 0725BK is a versatile 4-in-1 cordless vacuum cleaner designed for household and office use. It offers a range of functionalities including stick vacuuming, handheld vacuuming with various accessories, and a wiping attachment for simultaneous vacuuming and mopping.

Function Description

The core of the SENCOR SVC 0725BK is its motor unit, which houses the powerful suction mechanism, dust container, and rechargeable battery. This motor unit can be used as a handheld vacuum cleaner or attached to a metal tube and floor nozzle to form a stick vacuum cleaner. The 4-in-1 functionality is achieved through the modular design, allowing users to easily switch between different configurations and accessories to suit various cleaning tasks.

As a stick vacuum cleaner, it is ideal for cleaning floors and larger surfaces. The electric rotary brush in the floor nozzle effectively picks up dirt, dust, and debris. The vacuum cleaner features multiple speed settings (low, high, and turbo) to adjust suction power based on the cleaning requirements, ensuring efficient cleaning and extended battery life when needed.

For more targeted cleaning, the motor unit can be detached and used as a handheld vacuum. A variety of accessories are provided to enhance its versatility. These include a Cat&Dog motorised mini brush, a combined crevice nozzle, a combined attachment for upholstery and furniture, and a soft brush. These accessories allow the user to clean hard-to-reach areas, upholstery, car interiors, and delicate surfaces.

A unique feature of the SVC 0725BK is its wiping attachment, which enables simultaneous vacuuming and mopping. This attachment has a water tank that can be filled with water or a neutral cleaning solution. When activated, water slowly flows from the tank to a sleeve, allowing the vacuum cleaner to wipe the floor while vacuuming.

Usage Features

The SENCOR SVC 0725BK is designed for ease of assembly and use. The stick vacuum cleaner can be assembled by attaching the metal tube to the floor nozzle and then inserting the motor unit into the tube until it clicks into place. Disassembly is equally straightforward, requiring the user to press release locks.

The vacuum cleaner is powered by a rechargeable Li-ion battery, which can be charged either while installed in the motor unit or separately. The charging process is indicated by a light on the motor unit, turning from red to green when fully charged. To ensure optimal battery life, it is recommended to fully charge the battery before first use and to discharge it before subsequent charges. The vacuum cleaner automatically stops operation when the battery is almost discharged to prevent complete depletion.

Operating the vacuum cleaner is simple: press the On/Off button to start, and use the speed button to cycle through the three power settings (low, high, turbo). The electric rotary brush in the floor nozzle has a safety feature that automatically stops it if it becomes blocked by foreign objects or excessive hair, preventing damage.

The various accessories are easily attached to the output hole of the motor unit. The combined crevice nozzle and upholstery/furniture attachment feature a slide-out brush, activated by a button, for different cleaning needs. The articulated connector and flexible hose extend the reach of accessories, making it easier to clean high or awkward spots like wardrobes.

For storage, the vacuum cleaner comes with a wall-mountable holder. This holder provides a convenient place to store the motor unit and frequently used accessories, keeping them organized and easily accessible.

Maintenance Features

Regular maintenance is crucial for the optimal performance and longevity of the SENCOR SVC 0725BK.

Cleaning the Dust Container and Filters:

The transparent dust container should be emptied after each use, or immediately if the dirt level reaches the MAX mark. To empty, remove any accessory, position the motor unit over a waste bin with the container bottom facing down, and press the release button. The container bottom will open, allowing dirt to fall out. For a more thorough cleaning, the dust container can be detached from the motor unit by pressing a release button and twisting. The inner walls can be wiped with a damp sponge and dried with a clean cloth. The vacuum cleaner includes an outer filter and a tube filter, which should be removed and cleaned regularly. These filters can be washed under running clean water if necessary, but it is critical to ensure they are completely dry before reinserting them into the motor unit to prevent damage. The inflow filter, located under a cover, should also be cleaned regularly and replaced every 3 to 6 months, depending on usage frequency. It can be removed by twisting it clockwise, cleaned of dirt, and washed if heavily soiled, then dried thoroughly before reinstallation.

Cleaning the Floor Nozzle and Rotary Brushes:

The floor nozzle and its electric rotary brush require regular cleaning to maintain effective suction. To clean, remove the floor nozzle from the vacuum cleaner, open the side cover by moving a lock, and carefully remove the rotary brush. Tangled hair, animal fur, and other dirt should be removed from the brush, using scissors if needed. The inner part of the floor nozzle can be cleaned with a dry cloth. After cleaning, reinsert the rotary brush and close the side cover. Similarly, the Cat&Dog motorised mini brush also needs regular cleaning. Its rotary brush can be released by turning a lock, allowing for the removal of tangled hair and dirt.

Cleaning the Wiping Attachment:

After each use, the water tank of the wiping attachment should be emptied. The attachment itself can be wiped with a soft, lightly dampened sponge and dried with a clean cloth. The sleeve should be removed and washed by hand in cold water, then allowed to dry naturally. It is important never to submerge or wash the wiping attachment in water or any other liquid.

General Cleaning and Storage:

The outer parts of the motor unit and accessories can be cleaned with a soft cloth lightly dampened in lukewarm water. Abrasive cleaning agents, solvents, or dissolving agents should not be used, as they can damage the surface. If the vacuum cleaner is not used for an extended period, it should be cleaned, the battery removed, and stored in a cold, dry, and well-ventilated place, away from extreme temperatures and out of reach of children or animals. The battery should be charged every 6 months to maintain its condition.
