Overview

The Sencor SVC 190B / SVC 190W / SVC 190R is a hand vacuum cleaner designed for household use. It is a versatile cleaning tool capable of vacuuming both dry dust and liquids/water.

Function Description:

This hand vacuum cleaner is primarily used for cleaning various surfaces in a household environment. It features a main power switch, a dust container with a safety latch, and a filter to capture dust and debris. For enhanced visibility during operation, it includes an LED recharge light. The vacuum comes with several attachments to cater to different cleaning needs: a brush nozzle for general cleaning, a vacuuming attachment specifically for liquids/water, and a slot nozzle for reaching tight or narrow spaces. The device is designed to be portable and easy to handle, with an ergonomic handle for comfortable use.

Important Technical Specifications:

  • Power Supply: AC 100-240 V ~50/60 Hz 0.3 A
  • Output: DC 11 V / 0.25 A / 2.75 W
  • Noise Level: 80 dB(A)
  • Rechargeable Batteries: NiMH, 1400 mAh
  • Recommended Recharging Time (before first use): At least 12 hours
  • Recommended Recharging Time (during regular use): 12 hours
  • Vacuuming Time: 12 - 15 minutes
  • Rated Power: 45 W

Usage Features:

  • Initial Charge: Before first use, the vacuum cleaner requires a 12-hour charge. After periods of inactivity, it's recommended to recharge the batteries before each use to ensure optimal performance.
  • Operation: To operate, simply move the main switch to the "1" position. The included attachments (brush nozzle, liquid/water attachment, slot nozzle) can be used to clean hard-to-reach areas or to vacuum liquids and water.
  • Recharge Holder Installation: The vacuum cleaner comes with a recharge holder that can be attached to a wall, kitchen unit, or other suitable surface using two screws. The vacuum cleaner is then hung on the holder, connecting it to the connector in the holder. The power adapter is plugged into a power socket to initiate charging. A note indicates that the LED light may turn off even while the product is being recharged.
  • Liquid Vacuuming: When vacuuming liquids or water, it's crucial to maintain an approximate vacuuming angle of 45° to prevent water from being sucked into the filter. The maximum allowable liquid level, marked on the container, must not be exceeded. When emptying the container after vacuuming liquids, hold the vacuum cleaner with the suction nozzle pointing downwards to prevent water from entering the motor and causing damage.
  • Safety Precautions:
    • Do not use the product if the power cord or plug is damaged.
    • Avoid blocking air input and output openings during use to prevent overheating and motor damage.
    • Do not vacuum sharp objects (glass, needles), burning items (cigarettes, matches), flammable liquids (gasoline, paint thinners), or fine powders (flour, cement, plaster) as these can damage the product or cause injury.
    • Do not vacuum large pieces of paper or plastic bags, as they can easily block the dust container. If a blockage occurs, turn off the device, disconnect the power cord, and clean the dust container.
    • Never use the vacuum cleaner without the inflow filter or the dust container.
    • Keep the suction opening away from ears and eyes.
    • The product is designed for household use and should not be used in industrial settings or outdoors.
    • Always supervise children when the product is in use and keep it out of their reach.
    • Do not submerge the product in water or any other liquid.

Maintenance Features:

  • Dust Removal and Cleaning: Before cleaning, turn off the product and disconnect it from the power source. Press the button to release the filter cover, then remove the filter from the cover. Empty all dirty material from the cover.
  • Filter Cleaning: Remove dust and dirty material from the filter by shaking it over a rubbish bin. If necessary, the filter can be washed with a weak soap solution and lukewarm water. It is essential to allow the filter to dry completely before reinserting it into the product. It is recommended to clean the filter after every use.
  • Product Cleaning: Do not use abrasive cleaning agents, petrol, or solvents. For cleaning the product's exterior, use a cloth moistened with a weak neutral detergent solution.
  • Storage: Before storing, thoroughly clean the product and place it in a dry location.
  • Troubleshooting: The manual provides a troubleshooting guide for common issues:
    • If the product doesn't function, check if it was recharged, if the rechargeable batteries are installed correctly, or if it needs tuning by a service center.
    • If the product doesn't vacuum or has low power, check if the filter cover for dirty material is full or if the batteries are discharged.
    • If dirty material is coming out of the product, the cover for dirty material is likely full.
  • Battery Disposal: Old batteries should not be disposed of with regular household waste but at designated battery disposal points.
  • Packaging Disposal: Packaging materials should be disposed of at a public waste disposal site.
  • Electrical and Electronic Appliance Disposal: The product's symbol indicates it should not be treated as household waste. It should be disposed of at an applicable collection point for recycling electrical and electronic equipment. This helps conserve natural resources and prevent environmental and health impacts from improper waste disposal. For businesses, information on disposal should be requested from the seller or supplier.
