Overview

The SENCOR SVC 8725GD is a 3-in-1 stick vacuum cleaner designed for household and office use, offering versatile cleaning capabilities. It can be used as an upright vacuum cleaner or a handheld unit with various accessories.

Function Description

The vacuum cleaner operates as a 3-in-1 device, allowing it to be configured for different cleaning tasks. It features a motor unit with a transparent dust container, a rechargeable battery, and an on/off button. The speed setting button allows users to adjust the suction power through three modes: low speed for extended vacuuming time, high speed for strong power, and turbo speed for maximum power.

For upright cleaning, the motor unit connects to a metal tube and a floor nozzle. The floor nozzle includes an electric rotary brush (A21) with travel wheels (A22) for effective cleaning of various surfaces. The "Cat&Dog Mini" rotary brush (B1) with an independent motor is specifically designed for removing animal fur and hair from car seats, upholstery, pillows, and other textile surfaces.

The vacuum cleaner also comes with a combination crevice nozzle (B6) for hard-to-reach places like windows, corners, bookshelves, and areas between mattresses. This nozzle features a brush that can be extended or retracted using a button. A combination attachment for upholstery and furniture (B9) is also included, with fine bristles suitable for removing dust and dirt from delicate surfaces like curtains and drapes.

The appliance is powered by a rechargeable lithium-ion battery, which can be charged either while installed in the motor unit or separately. An indicator light (A8) shows the charging status, turning red during charging and green when fully charged. The charging process is managed by internal electronics to ensure optimal battery life.

Usage Features

The vacuum cleaner is designed for ease of assembly and disassembly. The floor nozzle connects to the metal tube, and the motor unit then attaches to the tube, with connectors aligning for a secure fit. Accessories can be attached directly to the motor unit outlet or to the metal tube.

To operate, the charged battery is inserted into the motor unit until a click is heard. The On/Off button (A6) starts the vacuum cleaner, and the speed setting button (A5) allows users to cycle through the three power modes.

The electric rotary brush has a safety feature that automatically stops if it becomes blocked by foreign objects or a large amount of hair, protecting the brush from damage. Users are advised to turn off the vacuum cleaner and remove the obstruction if this occurs.

For storage, the vacuum cleaner comes with a wall-mountable holder (B12). This holder allows for convenient storage of the motor unit and frequently used accessories.

Maintenance Features

Regular cleaning and maintenance are crucial for optimal performance and longevity.

  • Motor Unit and Accessories: The outer parts can be cleaned with a soft cloth dampened with lukewarm water. Abrasive cleaning agents, paint thinners, or solvents should be avoided.
  • Dust Container: It is recommended to empty the dust container (A13) after every use, or when the dust level reaches the MAX mark. The bottom release button (A14) allows for quick emptying. For thorough cleaning, the dust container can be removed from the motor unit by pressing the release button (A2) and turning it anticlockwise. The inside walls can be wiped with a damp sponge and dried with a clean cloth.
  • Filters: The vacuum cleaner includes an inflow filter (A4), an outflow filter (A11), and a tubular filter (A12). These filters should be regularly cleaned. The inflow filter is accessible by holding its cover and pulling it upwards, then turning it clockwise to release. It can be tapped out over a garbage bin or washed under running water if heavily soiled, then allowed to dry naturally. The tubular and outflow filters can also be removed and rinsed under clean running water, ensuring they are completely dry before reinstallation. Filters should be replaced every 3 to 6 months, depending on usage.
  • Floor Nozzle and Rotary Brush: The floor nozzle (A18) and its electric rotary brush (A21) require regular cleaning to maintain suction power. The rotary brush can be removed by sliding a lock upwards to release the side cover, then carefully pulling out the brush. Any wound hair, fur, or dirt should be removed, using scissors if necessary. The internal area of the floor nozzle should be wiped with a dry cloth. The "Cat&Dog Mini" brush (B1) is removed by turning a lock and pulling it out, then cleaned similarly.

Important Safety Instructions

  • Avoid contact with rotating parts of the hand accessories to prevent injury.
