6. INSPECTION BEFORE DRIVING
Start the engine
Check that the fuel valve is in position “ON”; insert the key in the ignition and turn it clockwise clock to start the engine. If the vehicle is in neutral
the corresponding light will illuminate on the instrument panel.
Caution:
When starting the engine, must be in neutral gear, the clutch on and the driver in the correct position.
When the engine is cold
1. The ignition switch is in the OFF position;
2. Use the carburetor choke system.
3. Press the start lever two or three times
4. Turn the ignition switch to ON position. Depress start lever quickly to start the engine.
Open the cold start devices completely, close the choke valve of the carburetor and start the vehicle by pressing the power button. Close the
cold start devices in half until the engine is hot; then return them to their initial (completely closed) position. In cold weather the engine may
require longer to warm up.
