      If your Shark Kitchen Appliance isn't producing steam, there could be a couple of reasons. First, make sure the appliance is turned on by checking if the blue light is lit. If it's not, ensure the unit is plugged in and the on/off button is in the “On” position. Another reason could be insufficient water; check that the water level is above the “Refill” line, and add more water if needed.
